I had a rather disappointing stay at The Carlton Hotel. While the location is fantastic, being right on the promenade and close to the town center, the service and conditions of the rooms left much to be desired. There were some positives like clean bathrooms and a warm welcome from the reception staff, but overall, my experience was marred by rude service and outdated accommodations.
